My showcase “close-up” short film for my acting residency at The Canadian Film Centre.

His friends call him Bob and his enemies call him Ba-Back-To-Your-Country. Babak is a pleasant Libra who enjoys being nice to people and being liked. He goes out of his way to be perceived as kind and accommodating and will jump through fire to make sure he isn't inconveniencing anyone. His least favourite thing in the entire world is correcting people when they say his name wrong. His avoidant nature has led him to everyone saying his name incorrectly and it's gone on too long. This piece explores the first time Babak stands up for himself.
